🧹 Smart Filters
Smart Filters help you optimize your reupload queue by automatically skipping assets that don’t need to be reuploaded.
Available Filters
Skip Owned Assets
When enabled, AssetFlow checks your Roblox inventory and skips items you already own.
This is useful when:
- You’ve reuploaded some assets previously and don’t want duplicates
- You want to only see assets from other creators that you don’t have
- You’re running a cleanup and don’t want to waste API calls
Skip Public Assets
When enabled, AssetFlow ignores official Roblox assets and common universal items.
What counts as “public”:
- Assets created by Roblox (ID < 1,000,000)
- Assets with public permissions owned by the Roblox corporation
- Commonly shared decals and audio used across many games
How to Configure
- Go to Settings in AssetFlow
- Under Smart Filters, toggle the filters you want
- Changes take effect immediately — no restart needed
How it Works
Filters are applied after scanning but before the reupload queue is prepared:
- Scan → All assets are discovered
- Filter → Assets matching filter criteria are excluded
- Queue → Only remaining assets are shown in the Asset Locations Explorer
- Reupload → Filtered assets are not uploaded
Filtered assets still appear in the scan results with a “Skipped” label, so you can see what was excluded and why.
Tips
- Use Skip Owned for regular maintenance uploads to only upload what’s missing
- Use Skip Public to focus exclusively on custom assets from your/other creators
- Both filters can be active at the same time
- Filters only apply to new scans — existing scan results are not re-filtered
